Books have been my lifelong passion. Whether reading, writing, or collecting—everything from romance and fantasy to crime to children's and young adult fiction—I’ve always found a unique magic in stories. Some say my home library could rival Oxford’s!
This love for literature led me to a career in primary education, where I had the privilege of inspiring young readers daily. Later, the joy of motherhood brought new life changes, and All in the Edit was born. Now, I help self-published and traditional authors, in addition to small press publishers, bring their works to life with accessible proofreading, editing, design, and publishing services.
Drawing on over ten years of experience, I’ve worked with a wide range of genres, though I may have a particular fondness for romance, be it sweet or spicy, and I can’t resist a good cozy mystery or an amazing mythology or fairytale retelling. I have also enjoyed working with authors in fantasy, horror, humour and memoir to ensure a great reader experience, and love working with children's picture books, early readers and middle grade fiction in particular.

5 stars plus plus! Finding a good editor is crucial to your work as a self-published author, and Sarah is one of the best I've found! Firstly Sarah knows her stuff, she can make your book better, but she's very collaborative in approach and this makes it easy to work with her and create a better book for your reader... and isn't this what we want?! Also her interior design skills are excellent and it's lovely to find someone who can do both jobs because that means you only have to do the explaining once. Sarah is like a long established friend... one you need as an author, as you let your newly created baby go to the hands of an editor. She will treat your book with loving care and attention. It took a while but I can say, "I've found my editor - the one I trust with my creative projects!
