Author Q&A

1. Why do you write?
When I wanted to explore fantastical worlds, I wrote a novel about a dragon rider. When I want to explore my inner world, I journal. When I want to express myself through an artistic medium, I write poetry. I love words and stories, so I write.
2. What is your writing process?
I write poetry as it comes to me. Usually it doesn't take very long, and I might fiddle with it a bit after I'm done. For short stories, I'll write on the fly but for longer novels I like to plan out a rough outline of how the story will go so I don't get lost.
3. Who is your biggest inspiration?
My biggest inspiration in life is Jesus. Putting my trust in his finished work on the cross is the best and most important decision I've made or will ever make. His wisdom, compassion and just nature shows the awesomeness and glory of God.
4. What do you want your readers to know about your book?
It's a collection that I hope will touch your hearts and inspire you to write your next poem, story or book!
5. What is coming next for you?
I'm not sure what life will bring, but I'm ready to tackle whatever comes next. Currently, I'm actually working on transitioning into the medical field so I can get my finances in order, ha ha!
